This is the first generation of the BMW M4, but if that sounds familiar, it's because, despite another name, this is the true successor to the M3 Coupé. So even with a new title, the M4 has the responsibility to defend an esteemed reputation.
Equipped with a powerful 3-liter twin-turbo six-cylinder M4 not only keeps the status of my M3 as a fast car, it became a very fast machine. Its 425bhp allows the M4 to fight with the heaviest competitors, while its 406 pounds of torque means that its performance is even easier to use.
But all in all speed has sacrificed something of the subtlety and balance of the M4 predecessor in power. There is no quick and easy way to describe how M4 readers - reading, figuring out why - but it is enough to say that never deaf or benign could be accused.
If the standard M4 does not sound enough for you, there are M4 GTS, ready to make the runway ready, monstrously wild and a little crazy.
